There is now only one major art and antiques show in Palm Beach, and that’s the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art and Antique Show (PBJAAS). The American International Fine Art Fair (AIFAF), which has always preceeded the PBJAAS, was recently cancelled after 18 years. Over the past ten years the PBJSAAS has continually grown as a result of CEO Scott Diament’s tireless pursuit to become one of the top shows in the world. John Smiroldo, CEO of InCollect and Antiques & Fine Art magazine remarked, “Scott’s unbridled enthusiasm and seemingly unlimited marketing budget is incredible. Scott truly believes in what he is doing. His promotion of his shows and the industry as a whole is unprecedented and extremely important to the trade.”
Scott Diamant, CEO of the PBSG, remarks “this is a phenomenal opportunity for us to make the show even stronger. We will use the extra time this year to enhance the look of the show and provide a true VIP experience for major collectors. Wait until you see what we do in 2016, it will be a game changer.”
A spokesperson for the The Merchandise Mart’s Chicago International Antiques and Fine Art Fair announced that after 16 years, the show will come to an end. The fair, which is held each spring, drew over 100 exhibitors offering everything from antiquities, americana and tribal art to modern masterpieces.
Chicago will not go without an antiques fair as the Palm Beach Show Group will hold its inaugural Chicago International Art, Antique & Jewelry Show from April 25 through April 28. The Palm Beach Show Group’s CEO/President, Scott Diament, announced the fair in May of last year and has since gotten the Women’s Board of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago to host an opening night champagne reception on April 24. The Palm Beach Show Group produces a number of highly-anticipated art fairs including the LA Art Show, the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show and the Baltimore Summer Antiques Show.
The Merchandise Mart ceased hosting its high-profile annual modern art fair in 2012.
The Palm Beach Show Group, producers of some of the most highly anticipated art, jewelry and antique shows in the world, has acquired the Antiques, Art & Design at the Armory Show. The prestigious fair, which is New York’s oldest and longest running show, was formerly produced by Manhattan Media and known as the AVENUE Show.
Headquartered in Palm Beach County, Florida, the Palm Beach Show Group currently owns and produces the LA Art Show; Los Angeles Jewelry & Antique Show; Naples Art, Jewelry & Antique Show; Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show; Chicago International Art, Antique & Jewelry Show; Baltimore Summer Antiques Show; Art Baltimore, Palm Beach Jewelry & Watch Show, and the Dallas International Art, Antique & Jewelry Show. Each show is celebrated for its distinguished line-up of participating dealers and the exceptional, high-quality items they offer.
Scott Diament, president and CEO of the Palm Beach Show Group, said, “We are delighted to be merging the AVENUE Show into our national offerings. We have always known we wanted to have a premier venue in New York and this show on Park Avenue in the heart of the city is the perfect addition.”
The Palm Beach Show Group will introduce the show at the Armory under a new name: the New York Art, Antique & Jewelry Show.

After its successful debut in 2012, The Palm Beach Show Group (PBSG) is proud to announce that the Naples Art, Antique & Jewelry Show will be held this year from February 8th to the 11th. More than 75 high-caliber dealers will be exhibiting. As an indicator of how strong the inaugural show was, the majority of the 2012 participating dealers signed up again for 2013.
Scott Diament, President and CEO of the PBSG remarked, “The second annual Naples Show will again provide exhibitors with the unique opportunity to not only meet sophisticated and educated clientele from Florida’s Paradise Coast, but also from the Midwest region, an area from which many attendees travel during this peak season.” Show visitors will gain access to major works of art, antique and estate jewelry, furniture, porcelain, Asian antiquities, American and European silver, glass, textiles, sculpture, contemporary art and many more of the world’s most beautiful collections.
The show's location is ideal for collectors and decorators alike, located just steps from Fifth Avenue, Naples’ world-renowned shopping, dining and entertainment district, and its cultural attractions including museums, theaters, and art galleries.
On President’s Day Weekend, following just four days after the Naples Show, the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show is celebrating its 10th anniversary. With the addition of so many top painting dealers this year, it has become the preeminent show for American and European art of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. In the art and antiques industry, this is an annual must-attend event and a hallmark in Palm Beach. Many exhibitors, including Peter Finer (the world’s leading specialist in antique arms and armour and new to the show this year) also exhibit at other top-notch shows such as TEFAF Maastricht, The Winter Antiques Show, Masterpiece London and The American Art Fair.
The Palm Beach Show was so successful last year that over 50 dealers were waitlisted for this year's show since the demand to exhibit exceeded capacity, an exceedingly rare situation in this volatile economic climate.
“Our Naples Show is the perfect complement to our Palm Beach Show,” adds Diament. “We are now providing our exhibitors with tremendous back-to-back exposure to the most affluent collectors from the Northeast, who choose to winter in Southeast Florida, and the most affluent collectors from the Midwest, who choose to spend their winters on the West Coast of Florida. Thousands of patrons—from private collectors to museums curators to investors—are anticipated to attend.
The Palm Beach Show Group, regarded as the nation's leading producer of premier fine art, antique and jewelry shows, has announced that Scott Diament has been promoted to President and CEO of the company and its four annual shows - the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show, the DALLAS International Art, Antique & Jewelry Show, the Baltimore Summer Antiques Show and the recently announced Naples Art, Antique & Jewelry Show. "My goal for the Palm Beach Show Group is to produce successful events that are well advertised, marketed, promoted and organized," said Diament. "I want to focus on a complete 365/24/7 solution for the challenges that our exhibitors face related to meeting new clients and young collectors, increasing awareness among current clients and developing business in existing and new markets." With more than 18 years of experience in the fine art, antiques and jewelry industry, Diament is determined to continue the success of the Palm Beach Show Group brand and further improve each show and the company's e-commerce solution, CollectorsArtnet.com. CollectorsArtnet.com is an international marketplace for fine art, antiques and jewelry where members can view and purchase the world's most exquisite treasures 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year. Created especially for dealers, collectors and interior designers, the site is unique in that it is the only online resource where members can virtually interact with and purchase from an exclusive, handpicked community of Palm Beach Show Group dealers. Now, collectors that visit a Palm Beach Show Group show can further their relationship with the dealers even after the show ends thanks to CollectorsArtnet.com. More importantly, dealers now have the lucrative opportunity to make pre-show and post-show sales from buyers all across the world, in addition to the sales made during the actual show. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University, Diament is a G.I.A. graduate gemologist and currently owns several businesses in addition to the Palm Beach Show Group, including six jewelry stores, an asset-based lending company, a licensing company, and a commercial and residential real estate development and management company. "With the addition of our new Naples show and CollectorsArtnet.com, we are now able to offer an even better vehicle for our dealers to connect with serious buyers and collectors on a global scale," said Diament. "I look forward to continuing to meet the needs of each and every Palm Beach Show Group dealer and to find new ways to grow their businesses."
