Paris Photo, the premier international art fair for works in the photographic medium, has announced a list of 168 exhibitors from 35 countries including 147 galleries and 26 art book dealers for its 19th edition which take place at Paris’s Grand Palais from November 12-15.

This year’s fair includes 30 solo and duo shows, including: Bruno Serralongue and Torbjørn Rødland, presented by AIR DE PARIS, Paris; Brassaï, presented by KARSTEN GREVE, Paris; Jean-Baptiste Huynh presented by LELONG, Paris; and James Welling, presented by PETER FREEMAN, New York.

International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA) has announced the exhibitors for its annual Prints Fair that runs from November 4 to 8, at the Park Avenue Armory. Launched in 1991, the fair will present 89 exhibitors this year, selected from the foundation’s members of international art dealers. “The Fair tracks 500 years of printmaking,” said IFPDA executive director Michele Senecal, “and given that it draws the top collectors and curators, exhibitors must be diligent in their efforts to secure the best offerings to present, whether they be Old Master, Modern, or Contemporary.”

The Art Basel in Miami Beach 2015 exhibitor list has arrived, serving as a reminder that for many in the art world, December is just around the corner. Better start preparing your wallets and your wardrobes now, because the clock is ticking.

Judged by visitor and exhibitor figures—56,000 visitors and 200 galleries from 23 countries this year—Art Cologne, whose 2015 edition closed on April 19, is not quite in the top ten fairs internationally. But as a regional event with a strong focus on Germany’s vibrant art scene and the German, Benelux and eastern European market, it has established itself as an essential stop-off on the art fair circuit for many collectors and dealers. “We need to be here,” said Alex Reding of the Luxembourg gallery Nosbaum Reding.

Changes are afoot for the Outsider Art Fair, which today announced not just one, but two new venues, in both New York and Paris.

In Manhattan, the fair will move to the Metropolitan Pavilion, on West 18th Street, which is also home to the PULSE art fair. The Paris edition, entering its third year, will move to Hôtel du Duc, hosting 36 exhibitors in a 1,000-square-meter space (approximately 3,280 feet).

The fair's Gotham edition found itself homeless after the former Dia Art Foundation building, where it ran for several years, was purchased by a new landlord, who terminated the leases of the events venue as well as Zach Feuer gallery.

The roster of dealers going to the West Coast for the third edition of Paris Photo Los Angeles is out. The fair will take place at Paramount Pictures Studios from May 1–3, 2015. Yasmine Mohseni wrote of last year's fair: "Paris Photo Los Angeles felt more convivial and less ‘business as usual' compared to other fairs where art advisors and collectors jockey for a prime spot at the most coveted booth."

With 80 galleries from 17 countries, the list is the same size as last year. Exhibitors like Taschen, Aperture, Printed Matter, Steven Kasher, and Garis & Hahn on the list this year.

When the doors of the prestigious Winter Antiques Show opened at the Park Avenue Armory on January 23, 2015, David A. Schorsch and Eileen M. From a Roman marble head of Heracles dating back to the middle of the 2nd century CE exhibited by Galerie Chenel, to Giorgio de Chirico’s 1950 painting “Ettore e Andromaca” at Galería Manuel Barbié, and a Eugène Printz rosewood cabinet at Galleria Robertaebasta, the Brussels Antiques and Fine Arts Fair (BRAFA) will offer an unusual mix of collectibles.

“I want to make BRAFA the most eclectic fair of its kind because this eclectic outlook is one of the main distinguishing features of Belgian taste,” said Harold t’Kint Roodenbeke, BRAFA president, adding, “Our credo is quality: quality of the exhibitors, quality of the works of art, and the quality of the event for visitors.”

Art Basel’s 13th edition in Miami Beach closed Sunday, December 7, 2014, amidst strong praise from gallerists, private collectors, museum groups and the media. Highlights of the show included the introduction of the new Survey sector, which brought 13 art-historical projects to the fair, including many rare works never before exhibited in an art fair context; and Art Basel's staging with Performa of Ryan McNamara's "MEƎM 4 Miami: A Story Ballet About the Internet" at the Miami Grand Theater. Solid sales were reported across all levels of the market and throughout the run of the show. Featuring 267 leading international galleries from 31 countries, the show – whose Lead Partner is UBS – attracted an attendance of 73,000 over five days. Attendees included representatives of over 160 museum and institution groups from across the world – and a surging number of new private collectors from the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Following a 100 percent reapplication rate for the Galleries sector and with new galleries coming from across the world, the list of exhibitors was the strongest to date in Miami Beach, firmly solidifying the show's position as the leading international art fair of the Americas.

From January 29 to February 1, 2015, the Outsider Art Fair will host its New York edition (the last at Center 548 before the building is sold), featuring over 40 galleries spanning seven countries — from Haiti’s Galerie Bourbon-Lally to Japan’s Yukiko Koide Presents. In addition, a special exhibition titled “If I Had Possession over Judgment Day,” curated by Jay Gorney and Anne Doran, will showcase the work of Melvin Way, Emery Blagdon, Adolf Wölfli, Mark Lombardi, and the Philadelphia Wireman, uniting these artists from disparate eras and methods under themes of paranoia and controlling chaos. Check out the list — and a few preview images from the special exhibition.
