A new Francis Bacon catalogue raisonné by scholar Martin Harrison will be published on June 30. Featuring 584 paintings, many of which reside in private collections, the five-volume tome will provide an unprecedented look at the evolution of Bacon’s work as well as his tumultuous life. The catalogue raisonné includes portraits of Mick Jagger and Robert and Lisa Sainsbury, who were among Bacon’s early patrons.
