On Monday, March 28, the Denver Art Museum returned the Torso of Rama, a 10th-century sandstone statue, to Cambodia. The museum acquired the work in 1986,  but only recently learned that the 62-inch-tall sculpture had been looted during the country’s civil war. The Denver Art Museum’s director, Christoph Heinrich, attended the repatriation  ceremony in Phnom Penh.
